Coach Helped Me Lose 18 kg And Improve My Muscle Mass; Today I Am 90 kg

I am 173 cm tall and was weighing 108 kg in Jan 2020, with an unparalleled craving for sugar and sweets.
I work as a consultant, which demands working long hours and erratic shifts that impact my lifestyle and lead to an increase in my body weight. Add to this a lot of binge eating, low-nutritious food, and sedentary ways of working.
I had tried all varieties of diets and gym workouts over a decade – but nothing helped as I could not sustain those plans for long. 

Though I was able to see results in the short term, they did not last long. The key challenges were – the diet plans did not go with my lifestyle and ways of living, and I was continuously starving due to reduced calorie intake.

Under the guidance of a coach from the Holistic Wellness Club, I was able to make changes to my diet and workout routine. This helped me make progress in a more sustainable way. The results started to come and stay. Here are my learnings/observations:

  • I was able to form healthy habits that are sustainable.
  • A well-thought-through diet plan that perfectly fits my lifestyle is ideal.
  • A customized diet plan has helped me monitor and make changes during the process.
  • I lost 18 kg and improved my muscle mass.
  • My sugar cravings have reduced significantly.
  • My satiety levels have gone up.

Oh no, not again!

This was my reaction when I went for my master health check-up. I weighed 104 kg on the weighing scale.
At 5 ft 7 inches tall, I was always pleasantly plump – but 104 was a big no-no! This was the first alarm bell in my head. My fasting blood sugar levels also had gone up and diabetes stared in my face.

I started an association with a wellness coach from the Holistic Wellness Club, who changed many things in my life. Today, I weigh 17 kg less, with HbA1C values at 7, down from 13. 

Changing my wardrobe brings me immense happiness. I am on size L down from 2XL! ” Nothing is better than a fit and healthy me.” I worked on small changes with my coach that got me big results. I increased my stamina and put the zing back into my life. I am not perfect yet – definitely a work in progress. But I will never have to look for a weight loss solution ever again.

Hi! I am Mythili, a big-time foodie running an eatery in Chennai!
I worked for a decade in a PSU that involved constant traveling, working long hours, and having the wrong foods at the wrong time. The obvious result was a no-brainer. I gained 15 kg and developed fibroids in my uterus, eventually becoming borderline diabetic.
This further caused me to go low on energy and become lethargic.

Everyone around me would become a victim of my fluctuating moods. I underwent a hysterectomy as advised by doctors, and my diabetes crossed borders. My blood pressure levels also shot up. To add to this, I suffered an ACL tear injury the following year while playing with friends on the beach. I was on bed rest for 2 months. 
My weight and blood pressure, and blood sugar levels spiked further. I never felt good standing on the BMI machine as it always defeated my self-image. I tried many ‘weight loss’ options. Nothing worked. At 40” on my waist, 84.5 kg on the weighing scale, with visceral fat at 22%, vitamin D at 19, and Hba1c at 7.6, I, fortunately, crossed paths with a Consultant from the Holistic Wellness Club who was helping a larger community. I have been following their advice, and I am upbeat about the possibility of reversing health issues. As of 28th July 2022, I am 38” on my waist and weigh 81.5 kg on the scale. My visceral fat is at 17%, vitamin D is above 20 and Hba1C…..

Wardrobe: From XXL To L – Is It Possible?

It is always fascinating to hear stories of someone who changed their entire wardrobe from XXL to L.So here is my story. I was always slightly plump though never obese or overweight. Things started changing drastically after my two sons grew up to attend high school. I started putting on weight and had to undergo a full hysterectomy. Putting on weight even though I was active, regularly walking, and doing other forms of exercise was frustrating. I once weighed 92 kg and was very heavy on my frame.

I understood that something was missing and realized that I needed guidance. That was when I started associating with a health coach from the HW Club, and within 1.5 years, I started to get the desired results. I lost 18 kgs and am back to how I was earlier. I am also able to maintain my healthy weight loss. I feel so happy today.

I have 3 children, and after my 2nd delivery of twins, I put on a lot of weight. This was a big challenge for me.
I took to some diet plans, yoga, and Zumba; this reduced my weight to some extent, but on discontinuing my weight shot up. My visceral fat was around 11.

This scenario changed after I got introduced to Holistic wellness. I was educated on food habits, sleep patterns, along with physical activities, which I was able to adapt to my daily routines. After a long time, I have reduced my visceral fat from 11 to 8 in a matter of 2 months & weight has obviously reduced by 5 kg from 66.4-61.6kg. I am feeling light & energetic throughout the day.
