Dance Your Way To Fitness

Someone jokingly said that it is damn easy to kick the smoking habit because he had done it a dozen times in as many months.

That is what precisely applies to good habits as well. Many people invariably quit hitting the gym because they get bored of gym workouts. They get disheartened seeing people develop muscles in front of their eyes. Oftentimes, if you have run a few marathons, you are too lazy to run another long run. At least, that was the case with me. 

If you are someone who had quit on good things or good habits in life, you are like me. 

To all you people, “Dance Fitness” should come as a blessing – and here is why. You will, as I did, find dance among the best fitness workouts because it keeps one’s mood upbeat. I found it to be the most engaging and challenging way to spend my energies.

I could socialize better, see everyone around me without feeling disheartened that I danced less vigorously than them, and feel more energized when I danced to my heart’s content no matter how awkward my steps were or no matter how many times I went out of step (while the rest of the class was jiving to the right, I was leaning to the left). 

Actually, in Dance Fitness, you don’t have to learn any steps nor are you expected to be perfect in the way you bend or stretch or do an “ara mandi.” That said, for the life of mine, I don’t think I will master “ara mandi.” 

The benefits I got over the last few months of doing dance fitness regularly are phenomenal. It aided me in getting better joint flexibility and gave a big boost to my mental well-being.

Are you wondering if I am exaggerating? Well, let me tell you that it’s a feel. It’s much more than exhibiting my before and after poses. 

So, if you feel guilty of habitually quitting on good habits, like me, why not try this novel habit out? You will be none the worse for it.
