Women'S Health
My menstrual cycle was always troublesome. It had been very irregular and painful in the early stages of my life. I have tried various medications, alternative medicines, and native solutions. But I found no long-term relief.
As a Beautician, I also got tired quickly and was more susceptible to infections.
But thankfully, I was introduced to this health community by my neighbor, who believed that my hormonal imbalances could be corrected naturally. I eventually met AnandiVijaykumar through my neighbor, who started adding value to my health. I noticed changes in my health, and I see long-term improvements.
I was suffering from travel sickness. Every road travel was a challenge for my family and me. I would get sick of vomiting and experience headaches. Being a homemaker, I was unable to carry out my daily chores properly after every travel.
I happened to meet a consultant through my good friend, who recommended certain lifestyle changes. I also tried foundational supplements along with a healthy regime and found very good improvement in my health.
Today, I am able to travel happily, and my family is also relieved.
When you belong to a large joint family, you have a severe workload all through the week. I was no exception. I used to feel exhausted by the end of the day but would still carry on with the routine household chores and attend to guests and family with a smile. We loved having guests at home. One day, my friend put me in touch with a nutrition consultant. That is how I met my health coach Rajeswari from Holistic Wellness. Thanks to her guidance, I feel more energetic now, and my health has improved. Thank you, Raje.
Managing PCOD
– Sandhya Daya, Home maker, Chennai
I live in Chennai with my family. My daughter of 20 years faced some issues with her menstrual cycle two years ago. She had irregular periods with severe stomach pain, painful acne on her face, the rough and dark skin around her nose, and sudden weight gain.
We consulted a Gynecologist and were advised to do an ultrasonogram of her abdomen. She was diagnosed with PCOD and was prescribed certain medications. However, the medications made her feel tired and drowsy. She was unable to concentrate on her studies. During our next doctor’s visit, we realized that the medication had caused her blood sugar levels to go too low. We had to stop the medicine.
I discussed this issue with my friend, Hema Prakash, a wellness coach. She suggested certain lifestyle modifications in her physical activity and nutrition. These recommendations, along with a healthy diet pattern, as suggested by the HW Club, are restoring her skin health, ideal weight, and a regular, peaceful menstrual cycle.
Thanks to my HW coach.
